Here at Fitli, we're all about communication and ease of use for your customers - and want to help you get in touch with your customers. To that end, we're exploring working with other third party programs such as Constant Contact or Mailchimp - to let you contact your clients/customers via email. We also realize that it doesn't make sense to reinvent the wheel - those products are already great and sending out very high quality emails and helping you to manage a customer list. Until we complete this partnership, we've got two options:
Option 1 - Use your customer list with a third party program. Like we mentioned above, Mailchimp and Constant Contact are two great options that offer free accounts and send out quality HTML emails. Just export your customer list. Then, import your customer list into their product - contact your clients from there.
Option 2 - If you want to stay within Fitli and send out simple emails, we've got a solution.
Steps:
1 - Create a new class service called "Email List", with a zero price.
2 - Put this class on your calendar in the PAST, with a capacity larger than your customer list.
3 - Then, add each customer to the class.
4 - From inside the class, you can use the "Send Message to All Participants" link, to email/message the entire "class" (see screenshot below).
From here, you'll be able to message all the clients in that "class", as if you were sending a "marketing" message. You can use the editing tools to change the font, font size and color, add background color, images, links, tables etc etc. Note that text formatting can only be seen on emails and not text messages. The text field gets prepopulated as you type your message, then you can change it. We've also increased the number of allowable characters to 2,500 for your messages.
