Mobile version: How can I edit my personal email/text message notifications?

As a client of a Fitli business, you automatically receive emails and text message notifications for several events - signups for classes and appointments, purchase of memberships and packages, and notifications 24 hours in advance of your class/appointment. But have you started getting too many messages or texts - and want to turn some off?

You can do that! Each customer or client can customize their notifications to their personal preferences. Some business have also asked if the business can manage notifications for the clients - that's coming, but not currently supported.

Important Note: If you have text messaging turned on but return a response to "unsubscribe" to any of Fitli's notification texts, your text notifications will automatically be turned OFF. To re-activate your notifications, you will need to respond to one of our text notifications with the word "START" or text "START" to 650-446-7093 and that will re-enable the messaging. However, you will still then need to opt back into text messaging back in your notification settings on Fitli.  

Step 1: Log in with your Fitli personal account. 

Login at www.fitli.com to your personal account. To do this, tap your name at the top right and select "Personal" on the pulldown. 

 

Step 2: Tap Account at the top menu, then choose Notifications on the pulldown. 

 

Step 3: Configure your Notification Settings.

Here are all the available messaging options (some may be slightly different depending on your user level, or access level).

 

Personal Notifications:

This section controls what emails and texts you receive as a CLIENT or CUSTOMER of a business (even your own if you are booked into a class).

About your booked sessions - Messages related to sessions you're booked into.

The majority of notifications come from the first line, "About your booked sessions". Turning this option off should keep you from receiving most messages about bookings, reminders, etc. 

About Your Purchases - Messages related to what purchases, renewals, etc you've made.

About Your Personal Profile - Messages related to changes to your profile, such as changing your email address or password.

About Fitli Messages - Messages related to the status of your Fitli account or important messages we need to send you.

 

Professional Notifications:

This section controls what emails and texts you receive as a TRAINER of a class, typically when you're a trainer with your business.

About relationships between you and business- Messages related to your association with a business, if you are added as the trainer for another business, or if that relationship ends. Typically you only receive these types of messages when you either start or leave at a business.

About sessions that are assigned to you- Messages related to you being scheduled as the trainer for a class, appointment, or session. You'll also receive messages of this type if your session is canceled or rescheduled.

About your professional profile- Messages related to any changes to your professional profile.

Reminders about sessions that are assigned to you- Messages related to "reminders" scheduled by the business, about any upcoming classes, sessions or appointments. A business can schedule these at periodic intervals, but typically 24 hours, 1 hour, etc.

Any settings with a blue checkbox can be modified, some settings, like purchases, require us to send you a notification (a requirement from our processor) and can't be turned off.

But the majority of notifications come from the first line, "About your booked sessions". Turning this option off should keep you from receiving a majority of messages about bookings, reminders, etc.

If you intend to receive text notifications, make sure you add your mobile number under "Contact Info" then hit save. When done, go back to the Notification Settings section then check all the text checkbox/es to receive text messages. If you see a message about "problems with SMS" then you may not have entered your mobile number correctly, or you may have blocked SMS messages.
