How to Activate Payment Processing

Do you already have a Fitli account but you want to turn on credit card processing for that account? Here’s how to get started. 

Log into your fitli business account and click ADMIN at the top.

 Click ‘Business Information’ > ‘Payment Processing’ on the left.

 Turn on the toggle for ‘Accept Card Payments - No monthly fee’.

 ‘Click Here to Add a bank account’.

Fill out your bank account information on the ‘Add a bank account’ modal and click SAVE.

 You’ll see your bank account information on the screen.

 Then, Click Here to Add a Tax ID (EIN or SSN).

 Enter your Tax ID number on the field and click SAVE.

 To view your Account Number and/or Tax ID, simply click the view link. To close, just click X.

 Leaving this section will prompt you that the changes you made may not be saved. Make sure to click SAVE.

 A message at the top will appear that your information is being submitted to the payment processor. Note: It can take up to 1 business day to get final approval, but it is often faster.

Your Braintree Payment Status will either go into Pending status or Problem status. Either way, we will reach out to you via email with instructions for completing the identity verification portion of the credit card activation process. Your account will be activated by Fitli admin after a quick vetting process required by our payment processor. The vetting process can take longer if the processor has detected any issues or inconsistencies because we need to provide specific documentation to the processor in order to revert that status. Most often, when the business has entered Pending status, processing will be turned on much more quickly as long as we are able to successfully verify your identity.  

Either way, you'll receive an email notification when your business account is approved. Your Braintree Payments Status will change from PENDING to ACTIVE similar to the one below.

That’s about it! You can now accept card payments and set up auto-renewing memberships for your clients!
