This guide will help you understand the different Usio Enrollment Status.
Note that this will only show up if you met the following requirements:
- The business should activate payment processing.
- USIO Enrollment switch is turned on (we’ll do this for you). Click HERE for a detailed enrollment guide.
Once we flip the Usio enrollment switch for your business, the first thing you’ll see when you log in to your Fitli dashboard will be a window prompting you to enroll for the new payment processor, similar to the one below.
If you’re occupied at the moment, you may choose to do it later by clicking the "Later" button on the left. It will be there the next time you log in until you complete enrollment.
To check your Usio enrollment status, click ADMIN > Payment Processing.
At the bottom, you’ll see Usio Enrollment Status. In the example below, the business’ Usio Enrollment Status is NOT STARTED.
Click the "What’s Next?" link on the right to check the different USIO enrollment status’ modal/guide.
Then, CLOSE when you’re done.
Different Usio Enrollment Status
NOT STARTED means you have not started enrollment. In the example above, the business chose to close the enrollment modal. Click "Begin Enrollment" to start the enrollment process.
You will receive an email from us to your business’ email once you sign up and activate your Fitli account. In the email there will be a link where you can schedule a Setup Meeting with us and a link where you can enroll in payment processing.
INCOMPLETE means you have partially completed the enrollment process but still need to take one more step to finalize your application. Once enrollment is complete, Usio payments will not be turned on yet but you will be all set for when the processor has been switched over. Click "Continue Enrollment" to go back where you left off.
If you have not completed enrollment for more than 24 hours, you will receive a reminder email from us to your business’ email to complete enrollment.
REVIEW means your enrollment application has been submitted to Usio and is currently under review.
You will receive an email from us to your business’ email letting you know that Usio is taking a closer look at your application and they will likely be reaching out to you for clarification. Should there be any need to correct any of your information, they will have specific instructions for you to do so. Usually, this may be due to name mismatch, an incorrect TAX ID number or other information. Usio will let you know specifically.
AWAITING MERCHANT means your enrollment application has been submitted to the processor and has been reviewed.
You will receive an email from us to your business’ email once you enter this status. This means that there is some issue or pending question about your application and Usio will reach out to you requesting clarification.
APPROVED means your enrollment application has been approved.
Once your Usio enrollment application has been approved, you will receive an email from us to your business’ email letting you know that our enrollment status should update to Onboarded soon but if it has not updated within 1-2 business days, please reach out to support@usio.com and/or support@fitli.com for further assistance.
ONBOARDED means you are now onboarded to Usio but Usio processing/payments has not yet been turned on for your account.
Once your Usio enrollment application has been updated to ONBOARDED, you will receive an email from us to your business’ email letting you know that you’re all set up. This means that your Usio payments have not been turned on yet. You’ll receive another email from us once we flip the switch for Usio payments.
ACTIVE means you completed the enrollment process and we turned on the switch for Usio payments. Usio Enrollment Status will change to Usio Payment Status ACTIVE.
You will receive an email from us to your business’ email letting you know that Usio payment processing is activated. Additional exciting features will be unlocked. You can enable a POS Terminal for your business for $5 per month and/or Accept Bank Payments (ACH) for $5 per month.
